Timini Egbuson breaks silence on trending 'Borrowed to impress' story

Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has reacted to the viral story claiming he admitted to borrowing money to maintain a luxurious lifestyle, casting doubt on the report.

The actor responded after a post quoting him as saying he used to "fake it, borrow and chase luxury" began circulating on social media.

Reacting in the comment section of the post, Timini appeared to distance himself from the claims, writing:

"Lmao .. when did he say this?"

His comment has since sparked debate online, with many fans questioning whether the report accurately reflected his remarks or whether his comments had been misrepresented.

The viral story claimed Timini confessed to previously borrowing money to keep up appearances before later realising that the pressure to impress others was not worth it.

However, with his public reaction, the actor has seemingly disputed the authenticity of the quotes attributed to him, leaving social media users divided over what was actually said during the interview.
